John Harriss

John Started in the security industry in 1985.

He has carried out the roles of service and installation technician, service supervisor and customer service consultant. John has also been employed as a major systems sales consultant, coordinator and security trainer.

While employed in this senior position, John's responsibilities covered high profile retail, government and industrial customers.

Prior to his involvement in security, John worked in the engineering and pharmaceutical industries where his responsibilities included the design, installation, maintenance and service of a broad range of equipment.

In his current capacity as Sales Manager, John's functions include identifying the security needs of potential clients and liaising with clients regarding security projects.

John's qualifications include an unrestricted A Grade Electrical Mechanics and a Industrial Electronics Certificate.

 

 

John Salman

National Operations Manager & Director

John has been in the security industry since 1979 commencing work at Wormald Security and continued to be employed by them till 1996.

He is skilled in all aspects of security provision. His broad range of experience includes service, installation, sales and control room operations. John has also acted in a supervisory role as a security trainer, consultant and national projects manager for multi-site organisations.

John has managed the implementation of a national security program for various leading petroleum industry company's and has been involved in numerous commercial projects.

In 1996 John Salman and John Harriss set up Sound Security and for the next 10 years set up a business that would operate Nationally and have a vast national client base. His position in the company was Managing Director and in this capacity was responsible for overseeing security contracts, sales and maintaining on-going communication with various clients. He was also responsible for maintaining the financials of the company ensuring its profitability.

In December 2005 Sound Security was sold to Diebold and John was employed as the Victorian state Manager.

In his current capacity at SE Security, John is back in the role of Operations Manager and managing the day to day functions of the business, a role that he successfully executed during his days with Sound Security.

John holds a Certificate in Electronics and makes it a priority to keep up to date with the latest technology.

 

 

Joe La Pira

Joe has been in the security industry since 1994.

In that time, he has worked closely with major retail chains and large commercial companies in improving their asset protection and overall security.

Joe's thorough understanding of security issues and solutions contribute greatly in producing system designs which perform efficiently and offer value for money to our clients.

In his current role, Joe is responsible for identifying new business opportunities and developing the existing customer base.

Joe holds a Diploma of Business (Marketing).

 

 

Dawn Harrison

Dawn commenced employment with Mole Engineering situated in Campbellfield in 1980,completing 17 years service in all aspects of the engineering industry from workshop/service management to finance officer.

In 1997, Dawn moved to an International travel agent to implement a computerized accounting system. She remained there running the financial operations including foreign currencies for a period of three years.

Dawn began employment with Sound Security in 2000 as the Finance Manager overseeing the daily business operations and remained with the company was sold in 2007.

Until recently, Dawn was employed by Rapidflow Industries in Campbellfield, as Financial Controller looking after their manufacturing head office and interstate branch office.

She has rejoined John Salman and John Harriss as Financial Controller at SE Security to help build the company into a nationally recognized Security company.

Dawn has also completed a Diploma in Business Management along with regular training/seminars to keep up-to-date with current taxation and employer obligations.

 

 

Brad Ridgway

Brad has been a part of the security industry since 2000.

From the early beginnings in counter sales at Direct Alarm Supplies, Brad gained valuable experience in the technical aspects of alarms and CCTV Systems as well as a good understanding of installation requirements, through his daily contact with installing technicians.

In 2003, Brad progressed into a sales representative role, and then made his mark in sales management and business development roles.

Over the years, Brad has worked closely with integrators and end users on many major projects throughout Australia, providing professional advice with respect to CCTV equipment as well as providing ongoing training and support. More recently, Brad has overseen the installation of alarms, access control and CCTV equipment in a Project Management Role.

Brad is a sales professional who prides himself on exceptional customer service and being able to provide his clients with the most productive and reliable solutions within their budgets.
